How to eat a melon

The main rule is to eat only melon. Just do not think that we are urging you to abandon the rest of the foods. The fact is that melon is a heavy product (just because of the fiber, which causes intestinal relaxation), it itself is a serious burden on the body. Therefore, mixing it with something else, especially with Alkohol and dairy foods, to put it mildly, is not worth it – the effect may be the most unexpected. It is best to eat the melon two hours before or after your main meal. And the main thing is to know when to stop: no matter how tasty this fragrant beauty is, you should not get carried away.

Who is not allowed to eat melon?

There are practically no such people. But in some cases, you should still be careful.

  • Nursing mothers should be especially careful – the baby may have problems with stool.
  • For a long time it was believed that melon is contraindicated for patients with diabetes – because of the large amount of various sugars in its pulp. Whether this is true or not is not fully known, so those who still have problems with blood sugar should not risk it.
  • With an ulcer of the stomach or duodenum, you will also have to refrain from this delicacy.
